3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1500 features two adhesives, one on each side of a 1.52 mm viscoelastic acrylic foam core, designed for robust performance even to complex contours and difficult automotive paint surfaces. The unique foam core provides stress relaxation when exposed to high application loads, while maintaining tight bond-line aesthetics under normal conditions.

Developed specifically for attaching exterior trim and other parts to automotive paint surfaces, our 3M™ Acrylic Plus Tape PT1500 features a 1.52 mm acrylic foam core with two different adhesives. The liner side adhesive is formulated for very high initial and final adhesion to scratch and mar-resistant paint systems. The non-liner side adhesive is excellent for bonding to automotive trim and other components. The viscoelastic foam core conforms well even to complex geometries, and is engineered for stress relaxation when exposed to high stress loads, and maintains bondline aesthetics under normal stress loads. 

The dark gray color of 3M tape PT1500 is inconspicuous, helping to ensure high levels of satisfaction among consumers. The red, 3M branded liner is silicone-coated on both sides to provide easy one-piece release and efficient tape application.
